Grape Ape is a strain dominated by indica. It’s a cross of Skunk, Afghani, and Mendocino Purps, by Apothecary Genetics and Barney’s Farm.

Grape Ape buds are large and compact, with deep purple and green leaves, with copper pistils throughout. It has moderate to high trichomes, leaving the flowers on the sticker side.

This strain is known for its nearly coma-inducing effects, and as such, is recommended for evening consumption only.

When consumed, Grape Ape does not hit fast, rather slowly creeping in on the user. Because of this, novice consumers might tend to overdo it and then get hit hard with the mind-melting indica effects.

In larger doses, this strain will leave you deep in the cushions of your couch, if not in a deep sleep. The high can be a bit disorienting, leaving the user feeling nearly comatose. This makes the strain best when consumed in the evening and usually is best for experienced cannabis users only.
